Best tips for self-reflection

This blog post will be quite different from the previous ones I had done before. These are questions I would like you to answer and reflect about.

  • What do I want for my life?
  • What do I have to do to claim that life?
  • Who do I become to claim that life?
  • Who am I?
  • What is my purpose?
  • Why must I do this?
  • What example do I want to set for everyone to see?
  • What legacy do I want to leave?
  • What does self-confidence mean to me?
  • What does self-worth mean to me?

That was just a short exercise I did for myself a few weeks back, and it has been helping me a lot. When I feel distrust, I go back to those answers I had written to the questions and feel calm again.

God, I admit that sometimes I choose other things to fill the empty space instead of coming to you. I want to take a closer look at why I make those choices and begin working to change my behaviours. There are times when I don’t feel you near me. Help me to know and understand, that even if I don’t feel your physical presence, you are with me all the time. I want you to be the one I turn to before I run to others for comfort or affection.
